Dr. Xue is a Research Professor from school of the public health, Peking University Health Science Center. He leads a team focusing on air pollution and climate change, their exposure and health impact assessments. Findings from his team contribute to understanding burden of diseases attributable to PM2.5, O3, and wildfire, among the vulnerable subpopulations, particularly, pregnant women and children. The recent works are delivered by high-quality journals, including Lancet Planetary Health, National Science Review, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and eLife. Their scientific investigations aim to maximize health benefits from environmental policies, as well as to minimize the environmental health inequality.
