Eloise Scotford is the Dean of the Faculty of Laws and co-Director of the Centre for Law and Environment, University College London. Professor Scotford is a leading scholar on the legal treatment of environmental principles, air quality law, climate change governance, waste law, and legislative processes as they relate to the environment. She has conducted funded research investigating air quality governance in England, and advised the UK government on law reform for better air quality. Professor Scotford is co-author of the two UNEP publications on air quality: the recently launched Guide on Ambient Air Quality Legislation and Regulating Air Quality: The first global assessment of air pollution legislation.
