- Master in Management of Natural Resources from International Centre for Environment and Development Studies under Agricultural University of Norway
- International Certificate Course on Environmental Pollution Control Engineering from Japan
- Have been working in the Department of Environment (DoE) since 1996 in different capacities under several technical wings of the Department, e.g., Climate Change and International Conventions, Air Quality Management, Environmental Law, Waste Management and Chemical Pollution;
- Started working as Director (Air Quality) since 2016 till December 2020;
- Worked as Director (Dhaka Division) from January 2021 to January 2023;
- Again, joined as Director (Air Quality) on 23 January 2023
- Serving as mitigation coordinator for Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Group in climate change negotiations under UNFCCC, and participated in 15 COPs since 2006
