Damayanti is a deputy director for complaints, compliance, and administrative sanction and director General of Law Enforcement for Environment and Forestry at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia. She is responsible for coordinating environmental inspectors to increase compliance levels all over Indonesia. Since 2015, she has worked as a program manager and has initiated programs focusing on the development of DG Law enforcement. Having 30 years of experience in the environmental sector, her work focuses on environmental financing, inspection, investigation, planning, and bilateral cooperation. She received her bachelor's degree from Bandung Institute of Technology majoring in environmental engineering and a master's degree from Melbourne University.
