Aditya Mahalana is a graduate of Universitaet Leipzig in Germany with an M.S. in Sustainable Development, focusing on sustainable urban and regional planning. He is a Senior Researcher of the International Council for Clean Transportation with more than 15 years of experience in the field of urban sustainability, climate change mitigation, and transport and energy. He co-authored various research publications for the transport sector, including Viet Nam fuel efficiency, ASEAN soot-free vehicles, and emission standards and fuel quality. His expertise in air pollution includes familiarity with emission inventory databases, air pollution modeling tools, and GHG impact analyses of policy interventions. Currently, he is the co-cluster coordinator for the EV Batteries and Cost Parity cluster of the ICCT.
