Nanette Medved-Po, founder PCX Solutions, and PCX Markets, is dedicated to accelerating the transition to a circular economy and a future where no plastic waste ends up in nature. Witnessing the impact of plastic pollution in the Philippines, she launched the non-profit PCX Solutions in 2019, setting the first global standard for Plastic Pollution Reduction. In 2021, she established the for-profit PCX Markets, a traceable plastic cleanup credits platform, which has prevented over 59 million kilograms of plastic waste from leaking into the environment. Additionally, Nanette, a prominent advocate for social entrepreneurship, founded HOPE in 2012, a B Corporation that has planted over 1.4 million coconut trees with smallholder farmers and delivered 128 public school classrooms. Nanette actively addresses environmental challenges at international forums, contributing to global efforts to manage plastic waste and serving on the boards of WWF Philippines, Winrock International, and Endeavor Philippines. She has been named an Asia Gamechanger Climate Hero by The Asia Society in 2022 and recognized as one of Forbes Asia's Heroes of Philanthropy.
