Lessons From an E-Mobility Readiness Project in Indonesia
In this webinar you will hear initial lessons learnt from the project Enhancing Readiness for the Transition to Electric Vehicles in Indonesia (ENTREV), financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The project is implemented in collaboration between Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the aim to support the government and key stakeholders in nurturing an ecosystem for electric vehicles in Indonesia. The project’s activities include supporting infrastructure policies, institutional relationship building, and ensuring technical, social and environmental compliance of e-mobility readiness, as well as demonstrating innovative business models for electric two- and four-wheelers. In this session, the identified challenges and opportunities for e-mobility in Indonesia will be discussed.
