Kim Byung-il is responsible for developing and implementing data analysis at the Public Procurement Service (PPS) in Korea, the Korean Development Bank and the Shinsegae Duty Free Shop. He also serves as the inhouse instructor for data analysis at the SKC & C.
He was also a member of the AI Big Data Examination Advisory Committee of the SK Group where he provided analysis in the field of demand forecasting and deep learning-based reinforcement learning models” using structured data and text data and prepared classification and demand forecasting(machine learning and deep learning) modeling based on structured data, as well as topic modeling and stock price forecasting projects using text data. In addition, he implemented an asset allocation algorithm using a reinforcement learning algorithm and participated in the development of a system for asset allocation services.
Mr Kim completed his Bachelor’s degree from the Kyung Hee University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1995. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MIS Major) and a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
