Digitally Driven Development (3D) South Asia - Connecting Asia through Digital Payments: Building on India's Experience and Lessons from Asia

As part of ADB’s Digital Week celebration, the South Asia Regional Department (SARD) organized a hybrid event “Connecting Asia through Digital Payments –Building on India's Experience and Lessons from Asia” on 21 September to showcase India’s Universal Payment Interface. Regulators, banks, and payment operators discussed the digital infrastructure, policy landscapes, and a roadmap for regional cooperation. The panelists shared insights and lessons that can reshape financial landscapes across the entire region.
