Dr. Joo Hoon KIM is the Chief Economist of Korea Development Institute since 2016 as well as the Director of Economic Information and Education Center of KDI since 2014. Dr. KIM is member of National Economic Advisory Council to the President since 2016 and was a member of Regulatory Reform Committee and Advisor for the Minister of Strategy and Finance. He has several publications including “Policy Issues on the Enhancement of Productivity of Service Industries” and “The Role of SMEs in the Innovation-Driven Economy” at KDI Press. Dr. KIM earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in 1989.
