Martha Rogers

Senior Economist
, The Nature Conservancy
Profile / Bio:

Martha Rogers is an economist in The Nature Conservancy’s Center for Sustainability Science. In this role, she serves as the technical lead for the Conservancy’s ongoing collaboration with Dow. She works closely with Dow staff to develop tools and processes to implement the company’s ten-year Valuing Nature Goal, which aims to generate one billion dollars in business value from projects that are good for business and better for ecosystems.

Beyond working on the collaboration with Dow, Martha is working to build a broader case for investments in nature-based solutions within the private sector. Through this work, she has collaborated with the Conservancy’s Business Council on a white paper looking at how companies can operationalize nature-based solutions and with the insurance sector to assess the feasibility of a mangrove insurance product.
