Profile / Bio:
Mr. Shigehiko Muramoto is the Head of the Project Administration Unit of the South Asia Transport Sector Office - currently supervising the implementation of 22 loans and 13 technical assistance projects, worth over $3 billion. Mr. Muramoto has over 36 years of experience in infrastructure development. He joined ADB in 2001 and has worked in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central and West Asia, and Pacific.
Mr. Muramoto holds a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on economic development and management from Yale University, USA. He obtained his undergraduate and master’s degree in civil engineering from Waseda University, Japan.
