Achmed is Programme Management Senior officer of Energy Transition Partnership. He is primarily responsible for effective, transparent and efficient coordination of the Fund’s programs in concert with the ETP Secretariat in its countries of operation, under the Rules and Regulations of UNOPS, and in accordance with the strategy approved by the ETP Steering Committee.
Before this UNOPS assignment, Achmed took roles as Southeast Asia Electricity Analyst with EMBER United Kingdom for about 1 year. Prior to this assignment, he joined Geo Dipa Energi Indonesia as Consultant Renewable Energy for 2,5 years, working in Tohoku University Japan as Research Assistant for 3 years. Achmed also joined World Wide Fund for Nature Indonesia (WWF) as Program Coordinator for about 5 years. In early 2014, he started his career as Researcher with Indonesia Institute for Energy Economics in Indonesia.
He holds Doctorate Degree in Environmental Studies from Tohoku University Japan, focusing on Environmental and Energy Economics and Master Degree in Mining Engineering focusing on Mineral and Energy Economics from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia.
