Risa Zhijia Teng

•Ms. Risa Teng has over 37 years of professional experience, including 24 years with ADB. 

•She joined ADB in May 1996 in Office of Administrative services and later moved to Central Operations Services Office as Portfolio management specialist, promoted to the Senior Consulting Services Specialists. She then moved to Central and West Asia Regional department, where she served in increasingly senior roles, starting from Pakistan Resident Mission and then heading the Portfolio, Results, Safeguards and Gender Unit. 
Prior to being appointed Director General of Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department, Ms. Teng  led Office of Administrative Services, where she provided strategic guidance to major initiatives such as organizational resilience, emergency preparedness, security and organizational procurement.

•Ms. Teng is leading implementation of ADB’s new Procurement Framework
