Dr. Kitipong Promwong is the President of NXPO. He directly reports to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. He oversaw drafting important national policy proposals including, for instance, the proposal on national reform on higher education, science, technology and innovation, The Research and Innovation Utilization Promotion Act, and fiscal and financial incentive packages to promote research, development, and innovation of the private firms, entrepreneurs and startups in Thailand and the policy paper on Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG)
