Mr Kobus Cheung, a Certified Public Accountant by profession, is a Senior Forensic Accountant of the Operations Department of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. He supervises a team of professional forensic accountants in providing corruption and related financial crime investigation support.

Having over 16 years of experience in financial investigation and forensic accounting, Mr Cheung has a wealth of knowledge and experience on corruption related investigations and the tracing of crime proceeds involving false accounting, IPO and listed company related fraud, public servant illicit enrichment and trade-based money laundering. He has also furnished a number of forensic accounting reports and testified as an expert in criminal proceedings in Hong Kong Courts.

Prior to joining the ICAC in 2007, he has worked in two major international accounting firms in Hong Kong and the Mainland of China.
