Cza is the Project Manager of the “Clean Ports, clean oceans: Improving port waste management in the Philippines” and serves as the Program Manager of the No Plastics in Nature Initiative implementation of the WWF – Philippines, a WWF network approach to stop plastic waste leakage in nature by 2030 through the elimination of unnecessary plastics; doubling reuse, recycling, and recovery; and ensuring the remaining plastic is sourced responsibly.

For the project, she works closely with the Philippine Ports Authority, Maritime Industry Authority, Philippine Coast Guard, Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Environmental Management Bureau (DERN-EMB), terminal operators, concerned Local Government Units, communities, and other key stakeholders in the maritime industry and solid waste management. Her goal is to co-identify and pilot circular solutions to addressing plastic pollution with stakeholders and documenting replicable models for the adoption of other ports.

 She started her career as a Corporate Training Specialist in 2011 before transitioning into environmental conservation work in 2013. From then on, she has been involved in various projects related to forest protection, biodiversity conservation, solid waste management, and entrepreneurship. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Environment and Natural Resources Management both from the University of the Philippines.
