Bangladesh has been experiencing substantial economic growth and rapid urbanization. This comes with higher power demand. As water and energy are natural partners,the country has taken an integrated approach to water and energy management. This presentation discusses one of its projects -Solar Photovoltaic Pumping For Irrigation-and how it aims to instal solar PV irrigation pumping systems in selected areas.
