[BAN] Supply Chain Finance Workshop

Dhaka, Bangladesh

Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP) conducted a workshop, on May 9, for local banks in Bangladesh, on developing supply chain finance strategy for SMEs. The workshop was attended by more than 75 participants and focused on managing credit risks, challenges of supply chain finance and case study of building a successful program. It also featured a high-level panel discussion on the next frontier for supply chain finance in Bangladesh. This initiative is part of TSCFP effort to bridge financing gaps for SMEs and promote development of supply chain finance in Bangladesh and the region.


The workshop on supply chain financing aims to share with banks on best practices on credit risk mitigants, share a case study on implementation of supply chain finance and discussion on next stage of growth of supply chain finance in Bangladesh. We will have experts from FCI and industry experts sharing their knowledge.

The Supply Chain Finance Workshop in Bangladesh is happening on 9 May 2023 at The Westin Dhaka. The ADB has engaged subject matter experts to speak on relevant topics, share best practices and tips, and facilitate interactive sessions during the workshop.
