Julija Kuklyte Polycarp is a Climate Change Specialist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, where she is leading the Bank’s climate adaptation policy and strategy, as well as overseeing its adaptation investment portfolio. She is responsible for ensuring climate resilience-related assessments are incorporated into investments across various thematic priorities and sectors. Prior to joining AIIB, she worked at the Green Climate Fund conducting assessments of its public sector projects, and at the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania, managing its Special Fund for Climate Change. She has a master’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Sydney and has over 12 years of experience in international development, climate change, and project finance.
