Ida Brzezinska is an Assistant Consultant in the Data Innovation team within the Research & Evidence practice at Oxford Policy Management. She has experience in quantitative impact evaluations and data analysis, focusing on applying new sources of ‘big data’ to international development research. In particular, she works with remote sensing climate data to analyze the link between poverty and climatic risks in low-and-middle-income countries.

She presented her work, co-authored with Paul Jasper of Oxford Policy Management, on the impact of day-to-day temperature variability on household wealth in low-and-middle income countries using big data, including remote sensing temperature data and poverty estimates from machine learning algorithms”, drawn from their working paper “Does Climate Change Drive Poverty?”
