Erdenee Batzorig is one of the most experienced leaders of Mongolian Civil Society Organizations with more than 30 years of working experience. She is a Program Director of “26 CSOs Consortium”, and a founder of the Mongolian Remote Sensing Society (MRSS) NGO from Mongolia to implement the “Mitigating the Impact of COVID-19 through Community-Led Interventions” 54368 project which is initiated and managed by ADB.
She obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics at the Mongolian State University of Education, Mongolia, a Master of Business Administration at the Institute of Administration & Management Development, Mongolia, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Earth science at the Graduate School of Science, Chiba University, Japan. Dr. Erdenee is an active and honored member of the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (IEEE), The International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA), the Japanese Remote Sensing Society (JRSS), the Mongolian Environment Civil Council (MECC).
With her doctorate degree In Japan, Ms. Erdenee started focusing on solid waste management and environmental pollution. In the last decade, she has initiated and implemented many projects in Mongolia to protect natural inhabitants, and landscapes, such as reducing air pollution in Ulaanbaatar city, recycling the waste in Khuvsgul Aimag, planting trees and vegetables across rural areas, and many more.
