Profile / Bio:
Nam’s professional career mainly focuses on climate change impact assessment and water engineering management with more than 20-year experience. He has conducted fundamental and practical studies in the field of environmental hydraulics and water resources, for instance, the studies on the development of advanced technologies for improving flood forecasting practices in Viet Nam; the development of vulnerability assessment and risk mapping tools for water infrastructure systems. His present research focuses on the promotion of water security, which is considered critical to making informed decisions for climate change adaptation.
