Abhisek is a Civil Engineer cum Urban Manager with a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Urban Management and Governance. He is a KPMG Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified personnel and a multi-dextrous professional with multi-disciplinary core competencies in engineering and management domains having experience in Government, Public and Private Sectors.
He is currently working as a Program Associate with eGovernments Foundation, where he is responsible for coordinating the successful implementation of various missions and adoption related to urban domain in the Urban Local Bodies by leveraging the transformative power of technology for better quality of life in cities and making them sustainable with the help of India’s largest Open Source Platform for Urban Governance: DIGIT (Digital Infrastructure for Governance, Impact & Transformation).
After his graduation, he worked in the Growth Projects Department at Lanjigarh Unit of Vedanta Limited - Aluminium Business, Vedanta Resources Limited as Assistant Manager, where he got exposure to administer both Brownfield and Greenfield Projects of Refinery, Power Plant and Infrastructure. He has handled projects based on EPC as well as EPCM and worked on various Feasibility Study Reports and Detailed Project Reports. Being associated with an MNC after completion of his Bachelor’s Degree and undergoing the Urban Management and Municipal Immersion during his MBA, enabled him to get hands-on experience on various Sustainable Projects, which enhanced his acumen and accuracy invigorating his skill sets.
