Masahiro Nishimura is Unit Head, Project Administration in Transport Sector Group of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He is responsible for administering transport projects and programs in the Central and West Asia and East Asia Regions. Dr. Nishimura previously worked with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of the Government of Japan. He obtained PhD in international studies from the University of Tokyo, Master in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Master of Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan. He has over 12 years of work experience in ADB in Central and West Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia regions and transport, agriculture, natural resources, food security, and rural development sectors. |
