Kaushal is a doctoral student in Water Engineering and Management (WEM) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand with 3+ years of research experience in the thematic field ”Water Security”, "Urban Water Management" and "Resource Nexus".
His interest is to leverage the knowledge and research skills gained in the field of water resources and transfer research into practice by narrowing down the gap between science-policy-society and contributing to the positive welfare of society.
Currently, he is a visiting researcher at the United Nations University Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (UNU-FLORES) to take part in the scientific training as a future environmental leader within the Global Water and Climate Adaptation Centre - Aachen, Bangkok, Chennai, Dresden (ABCD-Centre).
