Hien Tran is a Policy officer, focusing on Sustainable Finance topics in the GGGI Viet Nam program.
Hien holds a B. A in International Finance from Hanoi Foreign Trade University and an MSc. in Finance from Vrije Universite, Amsterdam. Prior to joining GGGI, Hien did research and analytical work for Viet Nam’s capital markets with the Hanoi Stock Exchange. In her roles at the bourse, she actively engaged and contributed to the long-term development of market infrastructure by introducing best practices, guidelines, policies, and new instruments to market participants to strengthen market efficiency and integrity.
Her aspiration to drive relevant and sustainable capital market changes led her to GGGI. With her experiences, Hien plays a pivotal role in navigating policy matters relating to sustainable finance and digital transformation. She provides market analysis and liaises with the public sector to facilitate the Viet Nam Green bond readiness program.
