Karsten Löffler has headed the Frankfurt School UNEP Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance since 2017. He is also Managing Director of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cluster Germany, was a member of the Platform on Sustainable Finance of the EU Commission and Chairman of the Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee of the German Federal Government. Previously, as Managing Director of Allianz Climate Solutions, he was responsible for the development of climate-related business models in the Allianz Group.
