Glenn Navarra Baticados is a professor, mentor, innovation champion, and startup founder. He is a passionate advocate of evidence-based entrepreneurship and inclusive agribusiness for more than 25 years. He is a pioneer mentor of GoNegosyo and for the ASEAN Mentors Network (AMEN). He is a well-sought mentor and speaker on entrepreneurship, business, and innovation. He also served as Director of the UPLB Technology Transfer and Business Development Office from 2015 to 2021 transforming the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of UPLB.
Mr Baticados is also a member of the select few Leaders in Innovation Fellows of the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and a pioneer alumnus of the Filipinnovation Entrepreneurship Corps. In 2018, he was named the Outstanding Extension Personnel of UPLB for his achievements and contributions to Philippine innovation and MSME development.
Mr. Baticados holds a Masters degree in Business Management from UPLB, an alumnus of the Asian Institute of Management, and a Lifelong Scholar of Michigan State University. He is a member of the faculty of the Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship of UPLB. He currently serve also as the Program Head of the Emerging Innovation for Growth Department (EIGD) in the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA).
