Toilet Talk: How to Create Transformative Global Movement on Sanitation 17 November 2022 Access to water and sanitation services should be a basic human right. Yet this is not the case for billions of people worldwide. In observance of UN World Toilet Day 2022, the Asian Development Bank organized a "Toilet Talk" webinar with the Founder of the World Toilet Organization (WTO), Jack Sim, to talk about how transformative global movement on sanitation can be achieved through effective communication and storytelling. Mr. Sim discussed how WTO has been able to mobilize politicians, media, NGOs, investors, and donors into the sanitation sector by breaking the toilet taboo.
