Dr. Donya Sheikh Khan is a senior specialist in Ramboll specialized in data-driven services and data management for the built environment. She has been involved in a large-scale data analytic project for the Danish Energy Agency, a conceptual data strategy for a global real estate company in relation to their carbon-neutral strategy, a carbon pathway analysis for an investment company, etc. She has a PhD degree in Architectural Engineering and Data-driven technologies in which she has conducted research into how different sensor and ICT technologies can be used for obtaining insights into building performance and occupant satisfaction. Besides her work as a consultant she is involved in the AEC and PropTech community giving presentations and talks at webinars and events on data-driven and participatory sensing technologies, data strategy & data management as well as lectures on how to work on improving building operations through data-driven practices.
