While the sustainable bond market in ASEAN has grown significantly in recent years, it still accounts for less than 2% of the total outstanding bond market. A panel of experts discussed options for increasing the supply of sustainable bonds in the region, shared their practical experiences in terms of the challenges and benefits of issuing sustainable bonds, and discussed ADB's role in assisting interested entities under the Asian Bond Markets Initiative.
