Agricultural nonpoint source pollution is one of the leading causes of water pollution. Nutrient runoff from fertilizer usage easily enters surrounding water bodies and adversely affects water quality. Know what types of farm have the highest soil nitrogen and phosphorus content. Also find out what adjustment in the structure and land use of farms can be done to reduce pollution, particularly in terms of preventing or controlling nitrogen (N) loss.
