Ms Sumaya Saluja is the Inclusive Governance Specialist for the Regional Governance Team. She has over 10 years of experience in South and Southeast Asia, Egypt and the United States working with local and international organizations on governance, peace and security, and gender equality. She has extensive programming and analysis experience on inequalities, civic space, voice and accountability, and conflict prevention. Prior to joining TAF, she has worked on a variety of projects with and in partnership with the Ministry of Health in India, the Consortium for Gender, Peace and Security at the University of Massachusetts, UNESCO and the United Nation’s Girls Education Initiative, among others. She has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University and a bachelor's degree in History and Economics from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi.
