Prof. Dr. Jamaluddin Jompa is a Fellow of the Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI) and Chair of Task Force 2 of S20, Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI). He is a professor at Hasanuddin University, where he currently serves as Rector and the Chairman of Center of Excellence for Marine Resilience and Sustainable Development. He is also Chairman of the Coral Triangle Initiative National Coordinating Committee Scientific Advisory Group and a Coral Triangle Center Board Member.
