Sanjeev Shrestha has more than two decades of experience in overall project designing, planning, implementation, and monitoring related to private sector promotion, value chain development, livelihood improvement, community development and natural resource management. He has supported strengthening the supply chains of more than 50 agribusinesses by brokering win-win business arrangements with 500 producer organisations in the agriculture value chain that have improved income, generated employment and increased their ability to respond to market demand. He has conducted several studies, research and result-based demonstrations focusing on biodiversity, value chain, and NTFPs/MAPs. Currently, he works as Value Chain Development Consultant for IFAD and provides supervision & implementation support to Nepal Portfolio Projects.
