Dr. Glenn Paraso is the Executive Director and CEO, Mary Johnston Hospital, Philippines.

Dr. Paraso graduated from UERMMMC in 1986 and took his post-graduate internship and residency training in Surgery at Mary Johnston Hospital. He finished his Occupational and Environmental Health course at the University of the Philippines College of Public Health.  Under a competitive British Chevening Scholarship award, he completed his Masters in Public Health (MPH) at the University of Wales, College of Medicine in Cardiff, Wales, London. He finished his courses in Environmental Health at the Institute of Cardiff.

A member of the American Public Health Association, he co-authored and read a paper on Private-Public partnerships for Family Health: Cavite Case Study, in its 141st Boston Conference. He is a founding member of the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians (PSPHP). He is recognized as a full member of the College of Health Administrators (CHA) and a Fellow of the Philippine College of Hospital Administrators (PCHA).

His pursuits include public health, climate change, and health, with which he was appointed by Pres. Aquino and Pres. Duterte to the National Panel for Technical Experts (NPTE) of the Climate Change Commission. He has been working with different international donor agencies to run health programs in family planning, maternal and child health, HIV AIDs, TB – under the United States Agency for International Development Programme (USAID), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), among others.

Presently, he is involved with different institutions - Treasurer, Banco Lagawe Rural bank, Director at the Resources for the Blind Inc. (RBI), Kapatiran Kaunlaran Foundation Inc. (KKFI), and presently as the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of Mary Johnston Hospital. He was likewise the immediate, past Chairperson of Wesleyan University Philippines Cabanatuan.
