Steven Schipani is based in the Asian Development Bank’s Viet Nam Resident Mission. He manages a portfolio of more than 50 public investment projects worth about USD 6.9 billion, covering transport, urban development, agriculture and natural resources, energy, and the education and health sectors.
Steven is also ADB’s tourism sector focal for the Greater Mekong Subregion. Since 2000, he has assisted Cambodia, the Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam to prepare and implement investment projects and technical assistance to improve tourism competitiveness and sustainability. A United States national, Mr. Schipani has a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor’s in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University.
