[Recording] ​The subsequent disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to both local and international food supply chains affected the availability and accessibility of food to consumers. This, plus other factors resulted in economic losses and adversely impacted the food security situation in the region. The session reviewed the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on food inflation and discussed policy options to help food systems recover and strengthen resilience against future shocks. [Session Summary]
