Prakash has more than 10 years of experience in environmental assessment (IEE/EIA) of a variety of energy development projects, ranging from storage type to RoR hydropower projects, high voltage transmission lines, project access road, and camp facilities. He is currently engaged in cumulative impact assessment (CIA) and biodiversity impact assessment (BIA) for a 220kV transmission line project.
He holds a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Water Resources Management (2013) from Nepal Engineering College, Pokhara University and an MSc in Environment Science (2009) from Kurukshetra University, India. His research interests include issues related to transboundary water management, cross-border energy cooperation, and environmental impact assessments.
