Profile / Bio: 

Babu Ram completed environmental sciences from the Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu and master’s degree in Natural Resources Management and Rural Development at the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry in Pokhara (Nepal). He has been involved in various wildlife conservation and research activities in Nepal primarily in the southern Terai region since 2009. 

Babu Ram has a long career with the Center, beginning as a research officer and later completing his PhD at the University of Antwerp and Leiden University. His work has led to numerous wildlife conservation and research activities and more than 50 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
