CindyeZhang joined Swiss Re in 2008, she is now Head of Property Treaty Underwriting Team in Swiss Re Beijing.
Cindy oversees Property treaty underwriting in mainland China. She has worked in HongKong, Seoul, Sydney, Singapore and Zurich for various tasks. Since 2010, she is heavily involved in the calibration work of China earthquake model, flood model and Typhoon model. She led the team to design and cost regional government natural catastrophe scheme programs since 2012.
Cindy is also involved in multiple market research or policy study projects. She has published paper on "top-level design on risk transfer mechanism of infectious disease in China", "Proposal on how to develop homeowner insurance in the Great-Bay-Area", "Earthquake protection gap of banking industry in China", "Principle and application of parametric insurance", "An introduction of government schemes worldwide and how it helps with government financial budgeting", etc.
Cindy graduated from Tsinghua University with bachelor and master's degree on environmental science and engineering.
