Digital Health Credentials in Building Trust at Population Scale -COVID-19 and Beyond
Digital COVID-Credentials has proven to be an effective tool for countries to restart mobility for work and travel. Such credentials have aided policymakers in negating the risk of COVID- 19 spread, by virtue of clearly ascertaining the vaccination or testing status, in a fast and automated way rather than through laborious manual inspections.
SAHS in collaboration with SDSC-HEA and SARC organized a knowledge webinar to understand the Verifiable- Credentials Issuance platform and assess its suitability for country needs in the region. The webinar was presented by experts from the eGov Foundation, an India-based Tech-for-good foundation established to enable Governments to leverage the transformative power of technology in sectors like health, urban governance, sanitation, and public finance management.
This event was open to any ADB internal and external audience, especially practitioners and policy makers from developing member countries.
