Sameer is the managing partner of August One, a private investment firm with a mission to Invest in Good. For Good. Through its Singapore and Europe based funds, August One invests in companies that can help transform the way we live and work. Working closely with governments, corporates, universities and family offices, August One also runs sector specific accelerators, such as the One Blue (formerly known as PortXL Singapore), to foster sustainable innovation in the marine industry.
Sameer has over 20 years of experience within the technology industry as an entrepreneur, management consultant and investor. He previously founded an engineering and design firm and held roles at PRTM (now PWC) in the US, Accenture in the UK and MCI WorldCom in Japan. Sameer has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and attended Columbia Business School in New York, and HEC, Paris for his MBA.
