Maria Pia Ancora is Senior Urban Development Specialist, CWUW. Maria Pia has worked on urban infrastructure and public policy advisory throughout Asia for the past 20 years. Key areas of work currently include low-carbon and climate-resilient urban infrastructure design and analytical and advisory services in Central West Asia. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental and Land Use Planning from the University of Trento, Italy, and a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Tsinghua University of Beijing, P.R. China.
