Saif Anjum is the Secretary of Punjab Irrigation Department, Government of Punjab. He is responsible for overseeing and management of the irrigation system, conceptualization, planning and execution of irrigation infrastructure development works, flood protection, and management. Major achievements include rehabilitation of Balloki and Jinnah Barrages and initiation of rehabilitation works on Khanki, Sulemanki, Panjnad, Trimmu Barrages. He has significant experience in the public sector in various senior policy level positions in program development, institutional reforms, legislative work, design and implementation of capacity building projects. He has worked with various international development agencies including the Asian Development Bank, USAID, and DFID in areas relating to policy reform in criminal justice systems including corrections, public safety and rule of law, regulatory enforcement, and governance.
