Ziwei Liao is a Senior Private Sector Operations Specialist at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where she leads financing and equity investment of infrastructure projects in South and Southeast Asia. She has 17 years of experience in private equity investment, bank financing, and management consulting, with a focus on power and utilities, renewable energy, and related clean/digital technologies. She delivered greenfield projects, closed M&A transactions, arranged project financings, and managed diverse energy portfolios across various countries, including U.S., Canada, China, Portugal, Belgium, Australia, Dubai, Russia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.
Mrs. Liao holds a M.S. in Economics from UWM, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from HKU. She is a CFA Charterholder and Certified FRM.
