Yuanyuan Fu is an associate professor in the School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University. She is also a research fellow of Sau Po Centre on Ageing, The University of Hong Kong. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong. Her research field is gerontology, and her research focuses on long-term care, active aging, physical and mental health in later life, and intergenerational relationships, and emphasizes the implication for practice and policy.
She has undertaken or participated more than 10 relevant projects, including Asian Development Bank, Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Education Sciences Fourteenth Five-year Planning, Youth Development Major Research Project of The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, etc. She is the reviewer of more than 10 academic journals, such as Health Policy, Aging and Mental Health, and BMC Geriatrics. As the first author or corresponding author, she has published 13 SSCI papers over the last three years (8 papers in SSCI Q1, and 2 papers in SSCI Q2).
