Chris is an international procurement specialist and an e-GP consultant with 43 years practical experience implementing donor-funded projects in Africa, Asia, the Caucuses and the Middle East. Over the last 13 years, he has focused on supporting the adoption of e-GP by providing training and business requirements analysis for the design and procurement of e-GP systems. Chris is a passionate advocate for adopting a data-driven Open Contracting approach to public procurement and the use of the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS) in e-GP. He co-authored the Open Contracting Partnership guide to defining an OCDS specification when procuring a new e-GP system and is advising the UK and Welsh Governments on the data dimension of their procurement reforms.
