Using results-based management as its strategy, the Government of Paraguay was able to put in place responsible and sustainable public policies for achieving development. Strengthening the country’s public financial management and budgeting systems resulted to an increase in public spending efficiency, social and infrastructure investments, and compliance with fiscal rules.
